I am certainly jealous, but where did the pictures go? Bucks n Beer your taxidermist is not as good as ScentFree's.

Great bucks everybody.

I'm guessing the buck was broadside and he shot him right in line with the front shoulders with a rage, because the rest of the deer is gone! Bet he didn't go far either and left a Stevie Wonder too! Big Smile

I was waiting out for a big ten on another piece of property but this guy happened to show up on a last minute hunt on the last night of the regular season. Never saw him before in the fields and haven't caught him on camera. I think he was an out of towner.

I called him in from over a 100 yards away with a snort/wheeze and a few grunts to within 15 yards. I told myself when I first saw him that if he came all the way to me with the call I was going to shoot him.

I was shaking like a leaf! I shot a 166 inch buck last year for rifle season and didn't have time to get excited like I did with this guy. Huge neck and stinky as hell! He was rutting hard! That's what its all about! If I didn't get excited, I wouldn't hunt anymore! Good luck to all on Saturday morning!

8 points. 16 inch spread. 2 1/2 year old. Northern Adams county.

Nice buck Sloshkosh! I also moved a stand earlier this week and Saturday afternoon I went out for a sit. Before I was able to take my backpack off, I looked up and saw this six coming towards me. Less than 3 minutes in the stand and I watched him tip over. Not my biggest to date, but after almost a month lull and over 30 days in the stand this year, finally got to squeeze the release. Congrats to everyone who has been successful this year and good luck to all the late seaason hunters! Wishing everyone a safe and successful gun hunt! Big Smile

Hung a stand at 1 am friday night and sat in it for a whopping minute saturday morning and this guy came by. First time on that spot ever. If you put in enough time your bound to get lucky sooner or later. I would guess about 125 hours on my land this season and I was sitting and ready for honestly 20 seconds max for this one.

Slightly quartering away nicked the guts, liver and got both lungs he went 100 yards on a full sprint with a poor blood trail and ton of blood in the cavity yet.

Dandy 2 yr old were guessing as he was only 146 lbs with zero fat on him.

piker- Congrats on your first buck. I hate to burst your bubble but there is no such thing as a 1/2 point. If it's over 1 inch it counts as a point, if its under then it has no value. However I would be happy to shoot a buck like that and you should be proud no matter what. I bet it was a huge thrill! Were ya shaking a little bit afterward? I'd say you're now probably hooked for life!
